CIP Summer Program
Teens with Asperger’s and Learning Differences ages 16 to 19 have a unique opportunity to learn valuable skills that are necessary for making a well-prepared transition from high school to college or while pursuing vocational interests.
Join us for 2 weeks on a highly-rated college or university campus for social, academic, career and life skills supports and instruction. Participants will have many chances to practice their new skills in a supported environment where they feel successful and build their self-confidence.
During our two busy weeks together, students will be introduced to CIP’s comprehensive curriculum, develop goals through the person-centered planning process and practice independent living skills. They will also build new friendships and have plenty of fun.
A precollege summer program makes it convenient for students see what life on a college campus is like. CIP’s Summer Program 2010 is located at Westfield State College in Massachusetts, Florida Tech, Indiana University in Bloomington and the University of California, Berkeley.
Being on campus provides a safe environment and collegiate feel where exciting and diverse activities abound.
